Is the Gather Four shop open?
We are preparing the first Gather Four collection. Products will appear in the shop only when specifications, pricing, inventory, and fulfillment details are ready for review.
What will you sell?
Our first focus is travel Mahjong tiles, Mahjong mats, Mahjong bags, and Mahjong racks. The collection is being shaped around mini and travel-friendly American Mahjong rather than standard-size tile sets.
What do “mini” and “travel” mean?
They describe a more compact physical format for easier carrying, storage, and play in smaller spaces. They do not automatically mean fewer tiles or a different ruleset. Every product page will list exact tile dimensions, included pieces, packed size, weight, and recommended playing area.
Will every mat, bag, or rack fit every tile set?
Not necessarily. Compact Mahjong products vary between makers, so compatibility depends on measurements rather than the word “travel” alone. We will publish rack length and channel size, mat dimensions, bag interior dimensions, and compatibility notes wherever they matter.
Do I need an American Mahjong set to use your learning guides?
No. The guides can help you understand the game before you own a set. For practice, make sure any set—mini or standard size—contains the jokers, flowers, racks, and tile count needed for American play.
Does a Mahjong set include the current NMJL card?
Unless a product page specifically says otherwise, assume the annual card is separate. Because the card changes each year, players generally obtain a current official copy directly from the National Mah Jongg League or an authorized source.
